CFB Live (“the App”) is a mobile and desktop application that displays college football scores, schedules, rankings, statistics, and related information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
CFB Live does not require users to create an account and does not provide user login functionality. The App does not collect names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, precise or approximate location, contacts, calendar information, or web browsing history. A still image is collected only if you explicitly choose to attach one to a feedback submission. The App does not accept video or audio attachments.
The App includes an optional feedback feature. If you choose to submit feedback, CFB Live collects:
Feedback is used to operate and improve the feedback/support feature and may be retained on CFB Live servers for review and follow-up. Providing feedback and an email address is optional.
CFB Live collects limited first-party usage telemetry to understand app usage and operate the service. The App receives a persistent, server-issued API client credential that is stored by the App and sent with normal API requests. The server uses a one-way hash of the credential's identifier for pseudonymous active-client and retention measurements.

CFB Live does not use IP addresses, device fingerprints, advertising identifiers, request bodies, or user-entered feedback content as telemetry identifiers. Most operational telemetry is retained for up to 90 days. Pseudonymous active-client history may be retained for up to 730 days to support season-over-season usage comparisons.
CFB Live offers optional digital purchases, including subscription and lifetime access products. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store. CFB Live does not receive or store your credit card number, bank account information, or other payment-card details.
To verify purchases and provide paid features, the App sends purchase verification material to the CFB Live server. The server may communicate with Apple or Google to validate the transaction and may retain purchase and entitlement information such as the store provider, product, transaction identifier, purchase state, purchase time, expiration time, and entitlement status. This information is used to provide paid functionality, restore access, and prevent fraudulent or invalid entitlement claims.
CFB Live retrieves public college football information from third-party data providers. The App may also interact with Apple App Store or Google Play services for purchases and purchase verification. Those third-party services process information under their own privacy policies.
CFB Live does not integrate advertising networks, does not include third-party advertising trackers, does not sell personal information, and does not share collected information for advertising or marketing purposes.
CFB Live uses HTTPS for communications between the App and CFB Live services so collected data is encrypted in transit. Access to operator-only administrative features is restricted.
CFB Live is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users should not submit personal information through the optional feedback feature if they are not permitted to do so under applicable law.
You may use CFB Live without creating an account and without providing an email address or feedback. You may also use the free features of the App without making a purchase. Some limited pseudonymous usage telemetry and the API client credential are part of normal operation of the App and cannot currently be disabled through an in-app setting.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
